Pub League
Several St Joe’s members have signed up for SFGAA’s awesome pub league. The game dates are March 7 and April 4. The registration deadline is passed, but let us know if you’re still interested in signing up and we’ll see if we can still get you in. This competition is a perfect venue for new players to get accustomed to playing in a fun but reasonably competitive environment.
Jerseys
We have an awesome new design for our jerseys that we think you’re going to love.
We’re ordering through O’Neills so in about a month we should have a club store again so you can order more Joe’s swag.

West Coast Sevens
St Joe’s will be sending a team to the West Coast Sevens in San Diego. Games will be on Saturday, May 23. This road/air trip promises to be a big deal for our club, while also being another chance for newer players to get a taste of competitive play.

Registering with the USGAA as a St Joseph’s player is required to participate in USGAA-sanctioned events, and ensures that you are covered by their third-party liability insurance. This is paid separately from your St Joe’s club dues.
Please handle your USGAA registration first, as that will cover you for the pub league and West Coast Sevens. The per-player cost this year is $74.45. If this is a financial hardship for you, let a club committee member know. Detailed registration instructions are at the bottom of this post.
Do the Dues!
We collect club dues separately from your registration with USGAA. We need these funds for field reservations, advertising, and other club activities. Also, our club gets a ticket to the 2026 GAA hurling final match in Dublin this summer, so dues-paying members are eligible for a drawing for who gets the ticket this year.
To pay dues, Venmo to Will Mallon. Note how the dues go up after April 27th.
Rates:
- $125 for standard renewal by April 27th ($175 after)
- $25 for first year members by April 27th ($35 after)
- $325 for sustaining club dues, for those willing and able to chip in more!

Set your Player Classification
“Non-Homegrown” means from Ireland
“Resident” means based in the US
“Homegrown” means from the US, or anywhere outside of Ireland - If it’s Homegrown then set your Player Classification H as Resident
- If it’s Non Homegrown then set your Player Classification NH as Resident or Non Resident
- Set Registration Type as First Time Player or Returning Player (If you registered in the system in 2025, even for five minutes, then you should select Returning player)
- Set Country of Birth
- Set Identifying document
- Set Issuing State/Country
- Enter the last four digits of your document’s ID number (you may need to produce this document in the event of us going to nationals)
- Set Primary code played as Hurling (unless you’re also a Gaelic footballer playing hurling on the side)
- Set Secondary code played (you may set this to Men’s football if you’re actually planning to play Gaelic football, it’s purely for the USGAA’s data gathering)
- Review
- Check that your details are correct
- Complete Registration
When you get to the “WOHOO!” you’re done, but to confirm you can go to the dashboard and check that it says “Eligible” next to your 2026 registration.
Then, post in the Whatsapp general chat that you’re registered!
