At Treasure Island’s GAA fields we’re putting together a practice scrimmage and inviting UC Berkeley hurlers. The purpose is to introduce these new players – as well as new players from Stanford and other communities – to get some game time. Spread the word – any new players are welcome, as well as experienced players who want to stretch their legs and show new player’s how it’s done.
That means you, you’re very welcome to join us even if you’ve not been out in a while. Whether you want to just puck it around or you’re an active player, we could use your help – even if you want to just puck around and heckle. The more the merrier.

The computers almost know what a hurley looks like. Almost.
Then at noon is the St. Joseph’s Annual General Meeting in the SF GAA clubhouse. We welcome current, past, and future Joes to catch up about how this year went and discuss our plans for organizing and sending hurling teams to a few competitions. What should we focus on? How should we build towards that? How can you help us coach, organize, or perform on the pitch? Join us!
If you’re heading out for one or both of these please let us know at our usual contact, at siliconvalleyhurling@gmail.com . Especially if you need a helmet or hurley.
